Nirmal and Jas are a husband and wife team. Nirmal has a Phd in Chemistry and BioChemistry and worked as a Scientist before retraining as a Chartered Accountant and worked for the Royal Brompton Hospital for 20 years. Jas studied law, qualifying as a Solicitor and has been running the legal departments for technology companies. Now that their young family have grown up, they decided to fulfil their long-held wish to become involved in the provision of healthcare and purchased their first care home – Highgrove House in 2017 and Byway House in 2019.

Nirmal – provides an oversight for the operation of Highgrove House supported by Karen Lisher and her entire team. I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for all our residents at all times by our dedicated care team, who are devoted and passionate about care. I left Royal Brompton Hospital in 2019 as I was keen to focus my entire time operating our care homes and ensuring our care homes are progressive and forefront of any changes in the healthcare sector and also making sure I am available at all times for our residents’ families.
