Nirmal and Jas are a husband and wife team.
Nirmal has a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry and worked as a Scientist before retraining as a Chartered Accountant and working for the Royal Brompton Hospital for 20 years. Dr. Nirmal Chahal worked for 20 years in the Healthcare Sector as Finance Director for the Royal Brompton Hospital Charity Division in London.
Jas studied law, qualifying as a Solicitor and became General Counsel for large corporations. She has been running the legal departments for companies for over 20 years.
They decided to fulfil their long-held wish to become involved in the provision of healthcare and purchased their first care home – Highgrove House in 2017 followed by the acquisition of Byway House and The Beeches Nursing Home.
Jas and Nirmal serve as directors for The Beeches Care Group including Highgrove House. The two oversee all of the operations and logistics for running of the care homes. For Highgrove House care home, they are supported by Karen Lisher, Registered Manager and Yvonne Barker, Care Manager and their outstanding team of carers and other staff.
