As an experienced, registered manager, Karen joined the Highgrove House team in 2019 after running large residential and nursing homes in the West Sussex area for over 15 years. As a healthcare professional, she has received RN Level 1 qualification.
“I have developed a passion for caring for elderly people—especially those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. I have been working in the care sector for the last 40 years and am dedicated to delivering a high standard of care for all residents and relatives. As a team leader and manager, I work directly with each carer at Highgrove House, empowering them to develop the skills and knowledge they require to meet regulatory standards and provide the highest level of care for our residents. I enjoy coming up with innovative ideas for fundraising, planning and carrying out annual social events for residents and staff within the home.”
